A tale as old as time.. it seems

Once upon a time, long ago in a far off land... yeah no... That is not how this story goes like.. "right here & right now", so let's get to it.

Us Scot’s are an elite bunch… if i do say so myself… we are filled & fuelled by strength, passion & laughter, fires burn deep in our souls, we have such a unique culture of being thy most inviting, welcoming country & people in the world. We are known for our banter, for our passionate ability for saying how we feel, how we fight for fairness & equality as well as for our beautiful land & abundant seas.

What happened to us?

Well it goes something like this… The establishment over all these years has done a fine job of conditioning & stripping us Scot’s of our own identity. Where is that pride in ourselves & in our country? We have been reduced to believing we aren’t good enough, we’re too wee & we’re too poor to look after ourselves, yet we are worth plenty to westminster! enough for them to be so desperate not to let Scotland go. You know what the worst part is, we allowed this to happen… so much so that we are now bickering between ourselves about political parties & policies. 

What's more important? 

Who & how we get Independence or actually getting independence? The fact in the matter is that until we push our political differences aside, Independence won’t happen. For Scotland to gain her liberty, her people must stand side by side as one… i don’t care if your SNP, i don’t care if your alba or ssp, isp or greens… none of that matters now. See through the infighting, see through the surface of it all. We have an opportunity to unite for the betterment of our people & for our country. 

So where do we go from here?

I mean there’s only really two options. Stay stagnant in this so-called union of equals and suffer under the overlord’s rule from Westminster or do we dare reach out and seize the opportunity of a better life, a better Scotland & a better future. Let's be honest… staying stagnant surely can’t be an option. That's not us!  That's not who we are! us Scot’s aren’t built to remain stagnant, rotten and festering in suppression, used and abused for our wealth of resources by westminster. We are built for a greater purpose, we are built as warriors, inventors & forward thinkers. I know we hold the power to be that nation again, all it takes is us to reach out and grab it. I know I will! will you?…. I dare you!
